Information : The latest Bollywood movie starring Hritik roshan is a real life biopic based on an incredible educationalist and mathematician Anand Kumar, Anand Kumar is well known for his super 30 programme which gives free coaching for IIT entrance examination to underprivileged aspirants.

Born to a clerk in postal department in Patna Bihar, anand went to hindi medium government school. There he develop interest for mathematics. His dedication and hardwork led to his paperpwork on “Theory number” published in various journal when he was only pursuing graduation. Such was his passion for mathematics, further he was offered admission to Cambridge University, London, but because of his father’s sudden death and humble living, he could not afford to go. But he never gave up. To support his family during this tough period he would sell papad with his mother in the evening. He would also go on a six hour long train journey to Varanasi on every weekend only just to work on his passion. In 1992 he rented a classroom for teaching and slowly and steady made his own institute “Ramanujan school of Mathematics” which almost enrolled 500 students. But it was in 2000 when a incident inspired a big revolution which is today known as Super 30. In 2000, a poor student approached him for IIT coaching, but was not able to afford the annual admission. This moved him a lot and there he decided to start super 30 which gives coaching, study material and free place to live for IIT aspirants belonging to economically backward section. In 2002 his institute started conducting test to select out 30 students of economically weaker section for the programme who would be receiving free coaching for IIT entrance examination. His teaching skills, hardwork and motivation sparkled amazing result. Not only during 2003-2017, 391 students out of 450 cleared IITs exam, but also in 2010, all the students of Super 30 cleared IIT JEE entrance making it a three in a row for the institution. A really big achievement to this date. This phenomenal revolution “Super 30” had gained a lot of appreciation not only from Indian government but also from world wide. International media like New York Time, BBC, Discovery Channel have telecasted his Super 30 programme to the world. Also Barack Obama’s special minister Rashid Hussain called his institute one of the best institute in the world. His extraordinary contribution toward education gained a lot of awards from both Indian and International government. He is honoured with prestigious Ramanujan Mathematics Award, a huge distinction for mathematician, “Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Shiksha Puraskar", in 2010, by Bihar government. Also Kumar was selected by Europe's magazine Focus as "one of the global personalities who have the ability to shape exceptionally talented people. He was also honoured by government of British Columbia, Canada and Ministry of education of Saxony of Germany. Lot of national and international companies have approached him to fund his programme but he always refused their offer, since he wants to continue this programme on his own effort. Canada-based psychiatrist Biju Mathew wrote a biography on him which he represented to the Honorable President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee. Now a movie based on him Super 30 is releasing soon where his character is portrayed by none other than Hritik Roshan. Not only Anand is a great educationist but also a influencer whose efforts and dedication have helped those poor students to pursue their dreams which was impossible for them to do so at one time.
